A native of Mooresville, NC, a small town located in the heart of North Carolina, my love for music began at the age of six when I began taking piano lessons. Later in middle and high school, I played saxophone for over 6 years, which also included marching band. Some of the artists that have influenced my style of music are, Musiq Soulchild, Brian McKnight, Luther Vandross, Tyrese, Boyz II Men, Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, and Kurt Franklin.
Since 1996, I have written over 3,500 songs expressing the rollercoaster ride that life gives each of us, but with a special ability; showing the value of love regardless of the genre. I enjoy listening to people’s musical needs and taking it a step further and producing what I hear from them. Outside of helping others in the industry. My heart’s desire is to be a staff writer in the music industry intended on helping to make others dreams coming true as well as continuing to record projects of my own.
An active ASCAP writer/publisher, I started Knox It Music Publishing Company in hopes of establishing an international company centered specifically on catering to the musical needs of artists and or publishing companies around the world.
