Mike Headtrip

From a childhood shaped by constant movement as a military brat, Mike Headtrip found his roots and his musical calling in Central Arkansas. It was there, amidst the country landscape, that he honed his skills on the guitar and discovered a passion for songwriting.

Mike's early musical endeavors included several groups with friends, most notably Monoxide Project. During his time with the band, he penned their only radio single, "Footprints." Concurrently, Mike explored a side project called Catharsis Stoned, releasing a collection of songs that included "Creditor" and "Hell Room," the latter evolving into the theatrical "Unbound."

The dissolution of Monoxide Project marked a challenging period for Mike, leading to a period of depression. From this introspection emerged the EP Without Water. Determined to rekindle his musical spirit, Mike returned with renewed vigor, releasing the EP The End As Beginning.

His creative journey continues with his latest offering, "Do You Like Me." Mike Headtrip is also currently collaborating on new music with a talented 2 lineups: As bass player in Sidechain sidechain.com and in Against the Cold againstthecold.com with Mike on guitar and bass, Nick Carter on vocals and drums, and Stephen Shatzer handling keys and production. An album from this exciting new collaboration is coming soon.
