Destined Universal is one of the newer faces to step onto the pop scene. Born in Philadelphia, the 24 year-old singer/songwriter made his introduction to the music industry as co-producer of the tribute project, Legendary: A Decade of Stacie Orrico in October 2010.

In the summer of 2011, Destined hit the social scene, making an appearance at the Girls Who Rock benefit concert for Shes The First, alongside twin-sister duo group Nina Sky and multi-platinum recording artist JoJo. Shortly after, Mr. Universal made a musical breakthrough and went viral on the internet, releasing a one-minute clip of his buzz track "Luv U Betta."

On February 9, 2012, Destined released his debut single entitled "LoveLife." The single was later released via iTunes and Amazon on Valentine's Day, establishing his artistry. The single peaked in popularity in the Northeast, and gained favor in Canada, Singapore, Tokyo & scattered areas along Spain . The exposure would eventually earn Mr. Universal his title as Artist Ambassador of salon industry leader SUPERCUTS' Rock The Cut program, his first BIG national endorsement to date including promotions in all of their 2,000+ locations.

This year, Destined Universal is returning with new music. Infusing pop, dance, R&B and alternative genres, Universal has established his very own signature sound, with the help of producers Elliot "DJ Shaw-t" Cesta, J.D Beatz, and Will Shine & Zillah of Diamond Styles Productions. Last January, Destined premiered his new single "Ghost." The single has since received high praises and is currently scheduled for a summer re-release. "Ghost" serves as the first sample off of Universal's forthcoming EP entitled Redemption, due out later this year.
