Newest Release:

Tony Marino - Thank You For The Music.

His recent studio album, “Thank You For The Music” stands out as an honest, heartfelt and spontaneous collection of tunes, which reflect Tony’s taste for groove-centric world music, combined with the sophistication of jazz in many of its shapes and forms.

The album has a humble and remarkable intent: paying tribute to some of the most influential names on the music scene with a set of 7 exciting tracks, dedicated to artists as diverse as Astor Piazzolla, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and Joao Donato, and James Moody.

Make no mistake - the seven songs featured on this particular release are not cover: they are original composition from Tony Marino himself, who managed to capture the spirit of each artist remarkably well in each composition. (Astor Piazzolla, Joao Donato, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, & James Moody)

For instance, Monk Island tips the hat to the master, Thelonious Monk, while Mr. Donato is a clear reference to Joao Donato himself.

The album’s production is remarkably tasteful and organic, serving the music seamlessly with a natural tone.
