Megalife is a Christian Rock band from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. The band started off as a studio project but quickly evolved into something more as the chemistry and songwriting of the musicians was undeniably unique. The group just released their first full-length CD "Phoenix Rising."

Megalife’s vocalist/rhythm guitarist, Len Jennings started writing concepts and material for a unique recording project sometime back in the mid two-thousands. The song sketches started forming while Len still fronting his former group, Smilin’ Jack Records’ recording artist, Rock of the Ages (RotA) another well-established regional group. Though the former bandmates seemed interested, the group disbanded before any songs came to life for the project.

A few years later, Len discovered his former church’s worship team bassist, Mark Gouras, had an extensive back catalogue of recordings and musical ideas in various stages of completion. They soon decided to combine their musical visions for a new recording project. And thus, Megalife was born. However, the two knew they were going to have to add some other players to really take things to the next level and beyond.

Len recruited long-time friend and drummer/percussionist, Aaron Haines, who played with Len in various groups including recording artists Vision and 7 League Boots. They quickly added another guitarist, but he left the group after only a few months. He was replaced by the dexterous and multi-genre player they heard in Steven “Flash” Gordon. Steve has played in various local groups in the D/FW TX area. When Steve joined, some of the songs were already written while others were still being worked out. But Steve was the perfect fit for the music and the chemistry.
